Jesse Poore 1770-1860 lived in Quaker country while in North Carolina, had close associates that were Quakers and even his second wife was from a Quaker family.
The person we believe to be Jesse's father based on detailed DNA research lived in Guilford County, North Carolina. Jeremiah Poer 1754-1850 appeared on the 1790 census in Guilford County, NC. He more than likely was there much earlier than 1790 but many documents were destroyed in fires from various battles.
